The Human Entelechy Institute

for 21st Century Leadership

Entelechy

  • En·tel·e·chy
  • /ənˈteləkē/
  • Realization of potential
  • The vital principle that guides development of an organism
  • Ex. The entelechy of an acorn is to become an oak tree
  • The soul

“Ask not what the world needs.
Ask what brings you alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is more people brought alive.”

—Howard Thurman

When 21st Century Leadership creates from the entelechy of inner purpose, new worlds are born.

Entelechy meaning: The entelechy of an acorn is to become an oak tree.

Our work with hundreds of high-impact leaders has demonstrated a world-changing truth: When the OS of leadership elevates above the default setting of ego to the entelechy of inner purpose, leaders naturally harness the unprecedented power of business to better our world while bringing themselves alive. The Human Entelechy Institute is a guild of high-impact leaders excited to guide, through training programs, mentoring, and collaboration, the growing emergence of business leaders called toward this paradigm. As a result, this HEI guild of leaders is accelerating the realization of each other’s planet-positive endeavors into a world in need.

“CEOs are recognizing that barriers to boldness and speed are less about technical limits and more about mindsets toward what is possible.”

Liberation

As different from the dogma of the day, there is nothing in today’s leaders, or any of us, in need of transformation. Inside each leader is already a limitless creator brimming with the embedded wisdom and compass to birth their entelechy into the world. This is not generated through transformation, this is generated through liberation. Through the process of working with them as they create their entelechy’s actualization in the real world, we help leaders liberate themselves from the tethers of limiting beliefs, thought, errant coding, and conditioning so that their aperture of possibility is expanded large enough to allow the yet unimagined to emerge.

Creation

What makes our programming novel, and ultimately of real impact, is a curriculum that is not about information accrual, but actual creation. The Basecamp Program is about the creation of the inner and outer foundations of life so leaders can hear the entelechy’s signal without noise, while Ascent then guides our leaders in converting their newly discovered entelechy into the creation of real-world endeavors of impact. These endeavors are accelerated and expanded through our learning system of highly curated, complimentary cohorts of four, where leaders deeply pull for each other, while individually making their own climbs.

Facilitated by Experienced High-Impact Business Leaders

Our facilitators, guest faculty and Advisory Cohort are all high-impact leaders in their own right, out in the world of business, using their own entelechy to make big dents in their universes. Their experience, often conveyed in real time, is consistently brought to the learning cohorts along with real-world and real-time coaching for the actualization of their etelechy’s endeavors.

The HEI Guild

This aspect of the Human Entelechy Institute is its true power source and what makes it invaluable to our students, members, and the world at large. All of our grads, our facilitators, our guest faculty, and the Advisory Cohort themselves, are all members of the HEI Guild and community. They provide deep experience, invaluable mentorship, and actual collaboration on real-world initiatives that emerge during the programs at HEI through our students.

“You can tell what’s informing a society by what the tallest building is. When you approach a medieval town, the cathedral is the tallest. When you approach an 18th century town, the political palace is the tallest. And when you approach a modern city, the tallest are the business buildings, the centers of economic life.”
